Access Level/Functionality descriptions

Access Level Functionality
Applicant
  • Create their own Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) application using their valid organisation reference and password;
  • Track progress of their DBS Application via the DBS Tracking Service
ID Verifiers
  • View application details for applications waiting ID Check only;
  • Check ID;
  • Submit application to an Applicant Manager or Primary Applicant Manager for completion of Section Y
Applicant Manager
  • Check ID;
  • Complete Section Y;
  • View application details;
  • Withdraw applications (prior to submission to the DBS);
  • Submit applications to Security Watchdog for countersigning;
  • View status of relevant applications (DBS Pre-processing, DBS Processing, Applications complete);
  • Track progress of applications using the in-built DBS tracking link;
  • View certificate details online;
  • Belong to multiple organisations;
  • View MI for all divisions within their organisation
  • View ‘Applicant’s Certificate seen’ date box
Primary Applicant Manager
  • Check ID;
  • Complete Section Y;
  • View application details;
  • Edit application details;
  • Withdraw applications (prior to submission to the DBS);
  • Submit applications to Security Watchdog for countersigning;
  • View status of relevant applications (DBS Pre-processing, DBS Processing, Applications complete);
  • View the audit log;
  • View the notes log;
  • Track progress of applications using the in-built DBS tracking link;
  • View certificate details online;
  • Belong to multiple organisations;
  • View MI for all divisions within their organisation
  • View ‘Applicant’s Certificate seen’ date box
