Level of check

DBS checks can be requested at either Standard or Enhanced levels, depending on the job role.

Workforce

The workforce can be selected as Child / Adult / Child and Adult / Other.

Adult Barred List

This is required for people who will be working in regulated activity with adults.

The DBS define a volunteer as a person who will not directly benefit from the position the application is being submitted for.
